"d,e,f" are graded as true colorless stones. stones graded here will be a vivid white, the canonical diamond color.

 

"g,h" are graded as near colorless. stones graded here will be white.

 

"i,j" are graded as near colorless. stones graded here will be white with a very very faint yellow hue.

 

"k,l,m" are graded as faint. stones graded here will have a very faint yellow hue.

 

"n,o,p,q,r" are graded as very light. stones graded here will have a faint yellow hue.

 

"s,t,u,v,w,x,y,z" are graded as light. stones graded here will have a yellow hue.

 

color will influence the price of the diamond as well. "d" color stones will fetch the highest prices with each descending grade garnering lower and lower prices.
